passes through the entire length of Adams County. But little has
been done as yet toward the development of the county, but the
population is on the increase, and the outlook for the future is
very promising.

Harbor is situated, containing the fertile valley of the
Chehalis River, connecting in its eastern part with the Northern
Pacific railroad. Value of real property, $1,600,564; total

are lumbering, salmon-packing, stock-raising, oyster-fishing and
general farming.
